Inherited unveiled Film to premiere in Cairo

The feature film *Inherited* (Persian: *Madarzad*), directed by Morteza Alizadeh and produced by Mahmoud Babaei—which was filmed under a media blackout—has completed its post-production and is ready for international festival screenings.

*Inherited* has secured a spot in the International Competition section of the 47th Cairo International Film Festival—a prestigious “A-list” festival—for its world premiere.

The 47th Cairo International Film Festival will be held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, from November 11 to 20, 2026.

Madakto Pictures is handling the international distribution.
